Parent Association

The CGS Parent Association plays a very important role in CGS life. It is an excellent way for parents to become involved in their school community. All parents are automatically members. Meetings are held six times a year. This dedicated group of mothers and fathers hold small scale fundraisers throughout the year and are also responsible for friendraising events including our Fall Family Fun Night and Olympic Day. The funds raised each year by The PA sponsor wonderful, curriculum enhancing events and workshops in the school every term. Some examples from 2011/12 include Drum Fit, Mariposa, Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt and a visit from Zootek on Earth Day.

A Message from the 2012/13 PA

Welcome new members! Our first meeting was very well attended. The QSP Magazine fundraiser will kick off our fundraising initiatives this term. Halloween is just around the corner and planning has already begun for our Fall Family Fun Night on October 26th.
