A Good Race Run

Our Cross-Country Championships were a huge success this week. With the rain holding off just long enough, the Grade 1-3 students went to Sherwood Park to compete in our annual race. The students ran two laps around the ravine in Sherwood Park against their classmates, which is nothing short of a challenge! These young runners impressed us all immensely. We emphasized individual success as well as the importance of everyone finishing the race and trying their best. All of the students showed amazing sportsmanship and positive attitudes, supporting each other and working hard as individual runners as well. Congratulations to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each class! We are so proud of our CGS runners.
