Grade 1 Resourcefulness

Resourcefulness. Well, anyone who was at the Assembly yesterday, knows all about how and when to use it now! The Grade 1’s did an exceptional job of giving us examples of why resourcefulness is such an essential life skill. Our hosts were in turn funny and serious about their topic. Thank you to Michelle L. and Michelle M. for working so hard to create a great narrative for the children to follow. Lauren, as usual, filled the musical spaces with wonderful songs for the children to dig into. Maybe it is the sunshine, and the fact that spring has finally sprung, that gave the choirs that added energy. The singing was so fun! Special mention to the Early Starts for singing so capably in French. (The children love their time with Rim and it shows.) Finally, another round of congratulations to our public speaking contest winners, Tenley and Zoe, for presenting their speeches for a second time in front of a much larger audience. Next up, believe it or not, is the Final Assembly on June 14. (The musical takes the place of a May Assembly.) Please mark your calendars, and we’ll see you there.
