Henry Moore & More at the AGO

On Friday, March 2, our Grades 1,2 and 3 students went to the Art Gallery of Ontario. It was a fun-filled day! Students utilized a critical analysis process while viewing and exploring original artwork by Norval Morrisseau and Henry Moore, just to name a few. The AGO offered many play-based activities that appealed to our students. We even had the opportunity to sculpt our friends into masterpieces! Yayoi Kusama inspired us to add dots and circles to our own artwork. Our imaginations were put to good use creating our own miniature squishy sculptures out of Model Magic. We returned to school inspired and eager for our next art project.
