A Wintery Flashback
We didn’t get a chance to report on the last day of skiing before March Break so here is a little wintery flashback for you…
The Grade 1-4’s took to the slopes of Earl Bales on the last day of term 2. It was the perfect day for skiing, not too cold and sunny with a great base of snow. The first ski day back in January was freezing cold, so it was a relief when we arrived to sunny skies and a balmy -12 degrees! The children had improved so much since the first ski day, with some even moving from the bunny hill to the big slopes. The first half of the morning was ski lessons in their groups based on ski ability, while the afternoon was mainly a free ski. Thank you to the amazing staff at Earl Bales and of course to the CGS staff too for helping the trip to run so smoothly.
We are already looking forward to our ski trips next year!
