April Spring Assembly!
Can you believe we only have a month and a half left of school? The term is flying by, and the spring assembly is already upon us. What a spectacular performance today! Our CGS Shining stars put on a great spring concert assembly. I know I can speak confidently that our audience members, parents included were so proud of everyone’s great performance. We heard an array of different songs all revolving around this month’s CGS character trait.
This month’s character trait is optimism, so each class from SK-Grade 4, as well as the CGS choir, prepared two songs that touch on being optimistic. Through this topic, students are reminded that “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.” If you believe you can do something and set your mind to it, you can do anything! As we all know a big school theme we often revert to is “We Can Do Hard Things”. Our Student Government hosted the assembly with clarity and perfect pace. They guided our audience through the whole concert. Great work!
The students put a lot of hard work into their presented songs, and it definitely paid off. They demonstrated their bravery and collective support to each other through positive showmanship in this assembly. A big round of applause goes out all our students on their wonderful performance. A big thank you and congratulation goes to our music teacher Naomi for orchestrating todays Spring assembly to brighten everyone’s day. Great job everyone!
