Bunny to Advanced

Grades 1-4 travelled to Earl Bales Ski centre on Monday last. The previous skiing date was cancelled due to extreme cold. Monday was a cold day too, but it gradually got warmer as the day went on. On arrival, the students were divided into two groups based on their skiing experience. The first time skiers went to the bunny hill for lessons and the more advanced skiers went to the bigger slopes. It was amazing to see how quickly each skier improved over the course of the day. The morning session was lesson based, which was followed by supervised free ski in the afternoon. Everyone had so much fun despite the cold and snowy conditions. The excitement is already building for our second and final ski day on March 7. Thank you to all the amazing ski instructors at Earl Bales and to the CGS teachers for ensuring a fun and active day for the children.
