What a treat it was to celebrate CGS Dads last week. This is the first time we have had a Father’s Day event at school in many years. The children always make gifts, of course, but because Father’s Day falls after the school year ends, celebrations are usually just at home. This year, after hosting the Mother’s Day Tea, The Principal’s Club decided that a new tradition needed to be born, hence Timbits & Coffee for the dads.
Thank you to all the daddies that changed their schedules to drop off their children in the morning so they could join in. Everyone loved it and looks forward to doing it again next year! We hope all you Dads out there had a good day on Sunday.
