Celebrating CGS Moms

A huge thank you to all of the moms who attended the Mother’s Day Tea last Friday. We hope you enjoyed the tea and delicious homemade scones. It was our pleasure to celebrate you all. Your generous donations to The Period Purse were so appreciated. (Marie delivered everything on the weekend.) The choirs always perform at the event and it is tradition for Principal’s Club members to speak before the performance. This year I wanted to include the children’s script as it encapsulates why the work that the club does, and the lessons that the children learn as a result, are so important. Thank you to all of our CGS moms again, for helping the children to see that their efforts make a difference, across the world and at home.

Deva:
Welcome Mothers to our Annual Mother’s Day Tea. We are so happy to have you here today so that we can celebrate you and all that you do for your children.

Ethan:
The CGS Principal’s Club is a lot of fun but it is also about learning to give back to people who need it most.

George:
Most of our fundraising efforts are directed to The Olive Branch for Children in Tanzania but we also like to help charities close to home as well.

Camilla:
With your wonderful donations today we will show the world that CGS believes that we should be living our lives with compassion and kindness.

Sebastian:
Whether it’s far away in another country or close by in our own city, we want to help people live with dignity and hope.

Max:
So many people need our help and together we can make a difference!

Valentina:
Thank you for coming and for your donations. We hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day and are showered with love and affection and everything you deserve.

Everyone:
WE LOVE YOU MOM!
