Chilly Track & Field 2019

It was a wet and cold start to our Track & Field Championship on Tuesday morning, but that did not dampen the spirit of the CGS athletes. The events for this year’s competition were the Long Jump, 400m, 200m, Baseball Throw and the 4 x 100m Relays. Each class had their own in-class competition so everyone had a fair chance of winning a prize. Everyone gave it their best shot, and there was plenty of cheering for fellow classmates and sportsmanship on show throughout. The final event of the day was the 4 x 100m relay, which is a new addition to this year’s schedule. The races were so close; some even had a photo finish! The awards took place in the CGS gym on Tuesday afternoon. Congrats to all our award winners and participants. Thank you to Camilla’s mum for providing the snack for our hungry athletes.
