Civic Spirit Meets CGS Spirit

Cozy civic pride was in full swing today at school. Everyone showed up in their jammies and Toronto wear, including our CGS Pizza Mums! There were Maple Leafs and Raptors all over the place! Thank you to Sara A and Clare for organizing such a fun day for all of us. Every class was assigned a Toronto landmark and it was so great to see the creative classroom doors and learn fun facts about our city. The lunchroom was divided into Toronto neighbourhoods and the children loved imagining being in different parts of the city while they ate their pizza. Thank you to the Student Government as well for greeting in the foyer this morning and for delivering the attendance to Zandée. Congratulations to Elizabeth in SK for winning the estimation challenge. She guessed the EXACT number of gummies in the jar (145)!
