Congratulations to Our 2019/20 Student Government

While the big, outside world was busy with the Federal Election this week, the Grade 1-3’s were busy with the 2019/20 CGS Student Government campaign. The stakes were high and all of our brave candidates rose to the challenge! From the creative campaign posters, to the passionate speeches, our CGS candidates gave it their all. We are so proud of each and every student that came forward to run this year. After the speeches were delivered and the campaign posters were taken down, classes gathered in the library to vote. It was a close race all ’round, including a tie for Grade 2/3 Class Councillor. Marie is looking forward to hearing from our newly elected government and to working with them to put their ideas into action.
