COOPERATION – the CGS Character Trait of the month
This week the Grade 3&4 class explored the Character trait of the month – Cooperation. The class took some time to brainstorm about what cooperation really means. They watched a video on cooperation and teamwork. To cap off their work, they did a fun Holiday activity. The students formed teams of two and choose a subject and character to write about. They chose from a worried elf, confused elf, excited snowman, worried reindeer. Their team task was to work together to create a story. They put their heads together and cooperated to make some truly creative stories.
CGS 2021 Student Government
In the spirit of Cooperation, our Student Government Can Drive wrapped up last Friday. Colette and Carlos from St. Ann’s Food Bank came by to pick up the donations to the Can Drive. The Student Government was all hands-on deck’ helping to get the donations outside for the pick-up.
Colette and Carlos were thrilled and wanted to make sure that a big THANK YOU is extended to the CGS community – your donations make a real difference. Special congratulations to our CGS Student Government for the hard work in making this initiative such a huge success!
