Creamy Clouds Make Rain in Early Start

The Early Starts were curious about the rain this week and had lots of questions about the weather. As a result, we decided to learn about the water cycle by doing a science experiment using shaving cream clouds and food colour rain. The children predicted what would happen and counted how many drops were added into the cloud before it became too full and “rained”. Fun was had and the children learned new vocabulary, including “evaporation”, “condensation”, and “precipitation”.
