Diwali Preparations

CGS is preparing for Diwali! The school has been getting ready for Diwali by learning about the holiday and doing a number of creative activities. Each class has created beautiful paper lanterns which are hanging around the school.

 

 

Classes also painted clay diyas to light during Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights. Each student designed their own diya and they all look beautiful! Check out the grades 2-4 hard at work at well as the finished product.

 

 

Even the younger grades were keen to participate in painting. The SK’s worked in smaller groups to paint their diyas, but the results were just as beautiful!
