Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

Winter is still here and we are having fun building snowmen… in class! This month the children in Grade 1 were inspired by Barbara Reid and her plasticine art in her picture book “Perfect Snow.” The children learned all about background, mid-ground and foreground when creating these snowmen out of plasticine. They also learned how to create texture and detail with clay tools. Great job Grade 1s!
