Fabulous Friday

It was a fabulous Friday at CGS! Not only was it pizza lunch (a student favourite), but it was also Field Friday and House Games. We love having special events so everyone can get together and have some fun!

Grades 1-4 had a fantastic Field Friday this week! We had beautiful weather for a trip to the field where the kids played a number of games together. It was lovely to be outside together and get some exercise. Outdoor education is an important part of our curriculum at CGS. We frequently take opportunities to learn outside, and we find that this has a positive impact on student learning.

CGS also had an awesome time at House Games this afternoon! House Games gives us a chance to get together across grade levels and play some fun games. This week’s House Games was carnival themed, with a carnival tent and popcorn snack. We love seeing the older students step up into a leadership role when playing with the younger kids.
