Fall Family Fun Night
Fall Family Fun Night
The CGS community had so much fun at our Fall Family Fun Night! We were thrilled to be able to party in person for the first time in a few years. Our incredible Parent’s Association organized an amazing night! The wonderful performers from Sole Power enthusiastically led both kids and grown ups in a night full of dancing; the kids were on the dance floor right until the end of the party! We really enjoyed seeing all the costumes, and were so impressed with all of the grown-ups showing their Halloween spirit. We love events that give us a chance to get together like this and are so grateful that we have such a fun and welcoming community.
For those who wanted a break from the dancing and music, we had a colouring and craft table set up just outside the main room. Our little artists coloured Halloween pictures and made (slightly) spooky crafts. It was the perfect spot to take a quiet minute and enjoy a chat with friends!
Every year, the CGS staff dresses up in a group costume. Past costumes have included crayons, Waldo from “Where’s Waldo?”, and Minions. This year, we were all thinking about coffee, after our work with “The Coffee Bean” book. We hope that we are a group who helps to turn coffee beans into coffee, so we decided to dress as baristas! We loved our cute (and sometimes spooky) headpieces and were so happy that the kids loved our costumes!
