Father’s Day Food Drive

The Principal’s Club met yesterday for the last time this year. It was such a fun meeting! The children invited a parent (their dad if possible) to join them to help make posters for their final event of the 2019/20 school year. As many of you know, the CGS community supports Zandée and her work at the St Ann Food Bank. Food scarcity in the city is greater than ever due to the financial effects of COVID 19 and The Principal’s Club has been looking for a way to honour our CGS Dads for Father’s Day so, they married the two ideas and decided to hold a Food Drive. (We would normally be treating Dads to coffee and donuts but that will have to wait until next year.) Congratulations on all of your good works this year Principal’s Club. We look forward to what you will accomplish next year – in your own community and for The Olive Branch for Children in Tanzania. Stay tuned for the fundraising total. Zandée is busy calculating! See you ‘curbside’ on June 18 for school belongings pick up/Food Drive drop off. Thank you for your support CGS, now and throughout the year.
