More breaking news from Norval this week! A kindly 95-year-old man planted daffodils in the forest and around people’s mailboxes to brighten their days and Mr Evans was on location at his house to share tips on identifying backyard birds and how to make a feeder to keep them coming back. The kids got creative right away and went to work on building a bird feeder of their own. Check out the Grade 2/3 handy work below.
One of the bird feeders even included a movie theatre for birds 25+! Thank you again to our friends at Norval for keeping in close touch and for nurturing connection to the outdoors for our students.
