Heading into the final stretch of Term 2 in the JK classroom is getting exciting! The JK’s are now recognizing capital letters and punctuation and starting to put sentences together. The goal of the exercise pictured here is to cut various words out and paste them in the correct order to make a proper sentence. The children then have to print out the sentence using a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence, finger spaces and the correct punctuation. A picture at the top is the finishing touch! This has been such a great activity and opportunity for the children to display their various skills in cutting, organizing and printing. We’re looking forward to more fun hands-on learning in Term 3.
