The German philosopher Nietzsche said, ” The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude.” At CGS we are celebrating gratitude as our character trait for the month of October. In class, the students in Grades 1, 2 and 3 have been talking about the role of art in our lives. They concluded that art is even more special when it sends a message. The beautiful creations from the Art Room reflect the students’ feelings of gratitude. The work featured here today is by the SK class. They used pastels to draw images of the things they are most grateful for in their lives.
