Holiday Outreach Preparations

CGS is thrilled to be doing our Holiday Outreach again this year. Holiday Outreach is an important event in the CGS year, where we have the opportunity to give back to our community. This is a wonderful after school event where students can enjoy a cozy, festive evening with their classmates and teachers. We all come in our most festive pyjamas, have a warm up dance party, eat dinner and watch a movie.

The main event of the evening is filling our festive outreach boxes with presents. Our outreach participants each bring a small gift to help fill the boxes. We are pleased to be working with Project Confetti this year, whose motto is “Spread Kindness Like Confetti”. We will be filling 50 Confetti Boxes with presents for the Children’s Health Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Character education and community outreach is an important part of our philosophy at CGS and we are so happy to be continuing our holiday tradition this year.
