CGS is preparing for the holidays in a big way. Everywhere you look you will find reminders that the holidays are near. Our students have been busy getting Christmas Trees displayed (JK and Grade 2 Trees are below), creating decorations, writing letters to Santa and welcoming the ‘Elf on the Shelf’. It’s so important at this time of year that we remember to give back.
Letters to Santa were written and delivered this week. Our Grade 2 and Grades 3&4 classes made the letter drop off a special class field trip!
Our Early Starts got their lists together and their envelopes addressed!
Craft Club Santas
The SK class have a room fully decorated with special craft creations of Saint Nicholas himself. As part of their final Term 1 Craft Club meeting they made some spectacularly googly-eyed Santas for display.
The Grade 2 class begin their 12 days of Holiday Kindness. For the month of December every student in the Grade 2 class will be choosing a daily act of kindness.
Elf on the Shelf
Our CGS classrooms had special visitors arrive this week – the Elf on the Shelf! Many of our classrooms have an Elf join them for the month of December. The students name their Elf and enjoy finding out where the Elf will be. You never know where you may find an Elf!
