Holiday Stuff

There are lots of festive things happening at school right now. For one, we’re all anxiously awaiting our Purdy’s orders! Watch for them on Dec 5, in plenty of time for your holiday parties. If you’re looking for other easy and thoughtful hostess gifts, make sure to place your order with the Principal’s Club for reindeer hot chocolate jars and cookies from The Little Red Bake Shop. We also hope you’ve signed on for your child to attend our Holiday Outreach party coming up on Dec 6 from 5-7pm (children only!). It’s a fun few hours out for parents (without kids in tow) and a fun night at school for the kids with their friends and teachers. We kindly ask that you make a donation to the Yonge Street Mission in exchange for this festive event. We’re very excited to welcome Eleanor from The Yonge Street Mission to speak to the children on Dec 17 during our Character Education assembly. She will be there to talk about the work she does and to pick up the donations. She sends along her sincere thanks to CGS for partnering with the mission this holiday season. Lastly, we hope you have the Holiday Concerts in your calendars! Dec 11 & 12. Check your school calendar for details. The children are working hard with Kristen to put together a beautiful show!
