Hop, Skip and a Vault!

The JK to Grade 4 students attended gymnastics lessons this past Monday at the Children’s Fitness Centres of Canada near Leaside. For some students it was their first time ever doing gymnastics outside of school. When we arrived, the students were divided into seven groups in order to keep the instructor to student ratio low. Each station posed a different challenge to the students. The stations involved different forms of tumbling, jumping, vaulting, climbing and crawling, just to name a few. Each station had it’s own unique challenge to conquer. The students really gave it their all, and gave each new challenge a 100% effort, even if it took several attempts. We were so impressed with their persistence and enthusiasm throughout. Everyone at CGS would like to say a big thank you to the gymnastics staff for their valuable instruction.
