It’s Time for a ThrowBack Thursday!

As the summer is quickly – dare we say it – getting shorter… it made us start to think about all the exciting things just around the corner for back to school! Specifically how school is just 1 month away from now, and how busy the beginning of the school year can really be! But don’t you worry, with all that busy back to school business, we always take time to celebrate!

Every beginning of the school year CGS proudly hosts a Welcome Back Party! Last year CGS hosted a Welcome Back BBQ for all our CGS staff, students, families and community to join! The Welcome Back School BBQ is a festive event designed to kick off the new school year with enthusiasm and camaraderie. Held at a nearby park, it offers an opportunity for students, teachers, parents, and staff to reconnect after the fun filled summer break. It is also a great ice breaker for all of our new students and families joining us to get to know others in our loving CGS community. Everyone enjoys a casual, fun and relaxed atmosphere while indulging in delicious food, snacks, and refreshments.  Last year we were joined by the duo Sonshine and Broccoli for some musical entertainment for all ages as well, organized by the Parents Association.

CGS is looking forward to another successful Welcome Back BBQ in the beginning of the school year as it is always a great success! It brings a strong sense of community and excitement for the upcoming academic year. It’s a chance to reconnect with friendly faces, meet new faces, catch up with old friends and their exciting summer adventures, and set a positive tone for the months ahead!
