JK Makes Predictions
The JK’s had a lot of work to do for Groundhog Day this year. They had to make their own predictions – would spring be early or late? Would Wireton Willie see his shadow, or not? In order to make qualified predictions, the JK’s pretended they were meteorologists and tuned into the Weather Network to see how things were shaping up for Feb 2. The weather looked snowy and dark but some JK’s were feeling lucky and went out on a limb and said there would still be a shadow for Willie. They were right! Everyone made a groundhog picture based on their predictions – a shadow and a cloud for a long winter prediction and a bright yellow sun for an early spring. Lots of the groundhogs got fun names too. Well done JK’s, we’re so glad things are looking good for an early spring!
