Playground Upgrades
Our CGS playground resurface is underway!
This is a 4 person job that lasts over 4 days to allow each coat to dry overnight. The resurfacing process involves 3 layers of materials. There is a foam and rubber mix for the 1st layer (black) followed by a layer of recycled rubber (forest green) then a top coat of man-made rubber that we have chosen as blue and green that is very durable. The surface is water penetrable so that it is virtually dry immediately after any rain.
We are thrilled that this project will be finished and ready for students at the start of the upcoming school year. Heartfelt thanks to the CGS Foundation for generously funding this initiative which CGS students will be enjoying for many years to come!
