Leprechauns & Shamrocks
We’re not used to celebrating St Partick’s Day at CGS, we’ve always been on March Break on the 17th, so Wednesday felt a little different. It was such a treat to see all the crazy green get-ups that the children and staff arrived in. There were light-up shamrock glasses, green sparkly ties and top hats, gold horseshoes and frothy green tutus. Everyone had a little green – including Michelle in the kitchen with green pears for lunch! We danced an Irish jig together after announcements too. (Shout out to I. in Grade 3 who is a total pro.) In class, the children have been talking about why they are lucky and why a rainbow is a magical thing. St Paddy’s Day is pure fun! Wishing you all a big pot of gold at the end of your rainbow.
