The SK’s love their STEAM activities and always look forward to working in groups to solve unique problems – like how to make a snowman out of marshmallows and toothpicks! The children had to make sure their snowman had two arms, two legs, and a head. They also had to use all of the materials at hand. In a few instances, the snowmen were short some of their required pieces so the children had to figure out how to rebuild them together. Collaborative problem solving is the name of the game for STEAM activities and it is always fun to see how the children interact with one another and what amazing creations they come up with!
