Marshmallow Teeth

“Teeth are always in style”- Dr Seuss

The Grade 4’s started learning about dental health this week in Health class. As you can see by the photos, they were very enthusiastic about the topic! The students worked hard to assemble their marshmallow teeth, so that they had 16 in the upper jaw and 16 on the lower jaw. After the teeth were glued in place, the next step was to label the teeth. We labeled the different types of teeth in the mouth from the incisors all the way back to the molars and wisdom teeth, learning about their unique functions and shapes as we went. Some students even had to extract some wisdom teeth to ensure their mouth would close!
