New Clubs Are Blossoming!
Can you believe we are already in our Term 3 of classes. Our school year has truly flown by and all our students have been soaring through it! Our last school term brings a new wave of exciting extra curriculars. This week at CGS was the first week of our new school clubs! This Term our students who are taking part in our before and after school clubs can be expected to be challenged, encouraged to try new things, learn worldwide, and of course have loads of fun!
As we know engaging in extracurricular activities can really aid in the social and mental development of every child of all ages. It can help reduce stress, improve mood, encourages self-confidence and personal growth and provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment. It can also provide a sense of community, making students feel more connected and supported in different social settings. It challenges them to expand their horizons, step out of their comfort zones and allows learning to be fun!
The clubs offered this term are Dr. Suess Club, Extended French, Mandarin, Multi-Sport, Around the World, Principals Club, Book Club, Fun & Games, Chess Club, and Movin’ & Groovin’ Club. Have a look at some of our first days of club this week!
