New To Our CGS Crew!
New Year, New Staff
Our CGS Family is growing! We are so excited to welcome two new staff members to our School. Please give a warm (virtual) welcome to our new Music & Drama Teacher, Naomi Peltz, and our new Director of Parent Engagement & Admissions, Sarah McGowan. They have been with us now for just a few days and have already made a fantastic connection and lasting impression with our school.
Music and Drama Teacher, Naomi Peltz
Naomi is jazzed to be the bringer of music at CGS! She has worked both locally and internationally as a music and theatre educator, with a focus on using the arts for higher learning: her expertise includes using the arts to learn English as a Second language and using the arts to overcome stress and anxiety. She can't wait to create a safe space for your kids to learn and express themselves creatively, fostering a lifelong love of the arts.
Director of Parent Engagement & Admissions, Sarah McGowan
Sarah is very excited to be joining the CGS team. She has a background in Performance and Entertainment locally and abroad which led her to working with children through a Toronto youth theatre company. Here she was a drama, musical theatre and arts teacher and expanded into the parent's engagement and admissions coordinator role for this company. She also has a background geared towards anti-bullying awareness, mindfulness and working with stress and anxiety in our youths, via workshops in schools and for parents. Sarah is looking forward to working with such an amazing staff and enthusiastic group of students.
