Puzzle of Canada

The Grade 4’s have been learning all about Canada in the classroom. We’ve been learning about provinces, territories and capital cities. One day, we found a puzzle. We opened it up and found out it was a Canada puzzle! We decided to build it right away. We built the whole puzzle in only one hour! Last week, Michelle (our teacher ) actually gave us a postcard project about regions in Canada. Each of us is doing a different region. I’m doing the Interior Plains. The puzzle helped us learn about our region. The puzzle came with stand-up pieces, including buildings, animals and vehicles found in different places in Canada. We had lots of fun finding where the pieces went. My favourite piece was the Northern Lights even though it wasn’t in my region! I also loved the CN Tower piece.
