Sending Warm Wishes
The holiday season can very challenging for many people. Soldiers far away from home in dangerous places and people without secure housing, right here in our own city, need thoughtful wishes at this special time of year. This week, all of the children have been writing and decorating cards. Michelle L will be sending some to CFB Trenton for our soldiers overseas and the Student Government will present the rest to Eleanor from The Yonge Street Mission when she is here to collect our Holiday Outreach donations. She will deliver them to the community she serves downtown. Cards made by children hold so much love, warmth and innocence. We’re so glad to be able to share what we have so much of at CGS with others. Thank you to all of the card makers for doing their best work.
