The SK’s have made many STEAM discoveries this term and one of their particular favourites is Engineering. They’ve been fascinated to learn that examples of engineering are everywhere, even in the houses they live in. Engineers are people who use math, science and creative thinking to solve problems, so with this in mind, the SK’s were given the task of designing and building a house from the the past or the present. The children used architectural blocks, Lincoln logs and architectural kits to construct their houses. (Thank you to our Foundation Wish List for the new architectural building materials for the classroom!) The children were so happy with their structures.
