Sorting it Out

We had a great Earth Day at CGS today. It was wonderful to see so many students showing their Earth Day spirit by wearing something green. We were happy to welcome Lucy Cullen into our Earth Day activities this year. She presented a wonderful and interactive food and plastic waste workshop for all the students. What an eye opener! We came out of her presentation knowing so much more about how we can help our precious earth. Thank you to Lucy for making our Earth Day extra special. Every class also participated in special planting projects, scavenger hunts, or nature walks this week. The JK – Grade 4 classes enjoyed some lovely activities and colourful workbooks from The Seeds of Inspiration Foundation and shared beautiful hardcover books to pair with their various planting activities. Keep up the great ‘We Mean Green’ work everyone!
