Specialties at CGS: Learning Strategist
Our team wears a lot of hats! On any given day, you might see a member of our educator team taking part in morning greeting as the CGS students arrive, or lending a helping hand at lunch time, providing guidance on a field trip, or even taking part in playground recess.
The Specialty Educators are an integral part of our CGS curriculum and community. We’d like to introduce and re-introduce our Team and hope you’ll learn something new about each member, and which “hat” is their specialty.

With Tinku’s guidance, CGS students in Grades 1-4 take part in Developmental Reading Assessments, (DRA) twice yearly. The DRA are a tool used to evaluate a student’s reading ability and helps determine their reading level by assessing various components including fluency, comprehension, and accuracy. Regular evaluations of our students’ ability to read at Grade Level helps us to provide one-to-one support where needed.
CGS students are fortunate to have Tinku’s guiding instruction and support to foster their individual success in reading.
Thank you, Tinku for sharing your expertise, patience and support with our CGS students!
