Student Government and Terry Fox Update

Student Government

CGS grade 1-4 students elected their student government this week! Students elected a Grade One Councillor, a Grade 2 Councillor, a Deputy Mayor, and a Mayor. We were so proud of all the students who ran for government. All of the candidates made posters and wrote and delivered speeches. Everyone did a wonderful job and should be very proud of their hard work!

 

 

Terry Fox Walk Update

We have completed our fundraising for this year’s Terry Fox Walk. We are so pleased to announce that the CGS community raised $22,000 this year! We raised $4,085 in t-shirt sales, with 100% staff participation. In our 24 years of commitment to the Terry Fox Foundation, the CGS community has raised $243,954.57. We are so inspired by the generosity of our community and so appreciative of everyone’s commitment.
