The Principal’s Club

The Principal’s Club is an important part of the CGS community and is part of our commitment to being involved in the global community. This club is open to our older grades; students can join once they are in Grade 1. Each year, the Principal’s Club works with one organization abroad to support them in achieving their goals. This year, we are continuing our partnership with The Olive Branch for Children. The Olive Branch for Children is an organization working in remote communities in Tanzania to establish community-led programs designed to help the most vulnerable members of the community. Some of the programs include HIV/AIDS prevention and care, early childhood education, and food security.

The Principal’s Club raises money to help The Olive Branch for Children specifically with their education programs. We are excited to be undertaking several initiatives this year to contribute to this cause. The Principal’s Club members are enthusiastic and passionate about helping others and have committed to raising both awareness and money to help this organization. Club members worked hard to create posters in order to inform the rest of the school community about The Olive Branch for Children and the goals of the organization.
