There’s Snow Stopping CGS Skiers
It was an unseasonably mild and wet Monday in March to go skiing this week but our CGS Grade 1-3’s were determined to get their second Ski Day in this year, following earlier cancelations. The weather failed to put a damper on everyone’s positive spirit. The students were so excited to ski and learn from the amazing instructors. The bunny hill got quieter in the afternoon as many students had graduated to the ‘Big Hill’. It was so impressive to see the Grade 1-3’s go down the big hills all afternoon. Skiing at Earl Bales is a great addition to the Phys-Ed curriculum. It improves coordination, ski ability and self-confidence. I hope everyone can get some more skiing done before spring kicks in!
Have a great March Break everyone,
