Welcome Back BBQ 2023

Summer break has come to an end, and the school bells are ringing once again! What better way to kick off the new academic year than with our sizzling hot Annual Welcome Back School BBQ Party at Sherwood Park? This years BBQ was all about creating unforgettable magic as we gear up for an exciting new school year.

We are so thankful and grateful to our amazing Parents Association (PA) for hosting and funding this years Annual Welcome Back BBQ!  They filled us up with delicious sizzling hot dogs and loaded us up with crowd pleasing snacks of chips and freezies! Not only did they satisfy our tastebuds, but they made our evening nothing short of magical with an outstanding Magic Show from Mad Magic. Our PA organized our first event of this school year flawlessly!

Beyond the delicious food and magical performance, the evening was a wonderful chance to reconnect with friends, parents, and teachers, share summer stories, plan groups meet ups, and set goals while enjoying a scrumptious meal in a laid-back atmosphere. The BBQ party was a perfect opportunity to build a stronger sense of our CGS shining community. Parents mingled, teachers reconnected with students and our CGS families, and friendships blossomed.

As the sun set on our back-to-school BBQ  we left with full bellies, full hearts, and the excitement of a promising new school year ahead. Our Annual Welcome Back BBQ has become a cherished tradition that brings our school community together and creates lasting memories!
