Welcome to Meet the Teacher Night!

    With the start of every new school year, one of our most important goals is to build community. Welcoming our new families, and reengaging with our returning families means so much to our entire staff. Meet the Teacher Night is really the first opportunity for our educators to introduce themselves and set the tone for the upcoming school year.

Each homeroom teacher and teacher-team prepare a thoughtful and thorough review of the year ahead. They highlight and present their individual classroom goals as well as focussing on our goals as a school community. The CGS Specialty Educators are integral to our balanced approach in education, and as we all know, they add so much FUN, too!

Your child’s classroom Curriculum and Info packet was shared via email with you, but if you need another link just reach out to your child’s educator.

Each year, Principal Marie surprises each class with a special token to mark the new year. This year, every student in every class received two id tags and pencils for their bags. Need an extra? Just let us know in the office and we’ll send one home.

It’s a pretty special time in your child’s life as they move through their primary school years. We love seeing you at their tables, listening to their educators and really taking part in what your child’s day is all about at CGS. Here we come, 2024-25!
