Admission & Fees

At CGS, we want the application process to be stress-free and enjoyable for you and your child. Please find the answers to our most frequently asked questions regarding our application process below. If you can't find the answer to your question, please contact our Vice Principal at admissions@cgsschool.com or the CGS school office at 416-423-5017.

The first step in our Admissions process is a phone call.

We'd like to tell you more about our school and to learn about your family, too.

Let's set up a phone call to answer your questions, and then we can schedule an in-person tour for you and your child to visit our school after you complete the application.

Our initial phone call can be scheduled any weekday between 8:30am and 4:00pm with Joan, our Vice Principal.

Please complete the form below and you'll hear back from Joan within one business day to arrange a convenient day and time to chat.

Come Visit Us at CGS!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Applications are available online below.

Please note, a non-refundable credit card payment of $100 is required to submit your application.

All applications are dated, and admission decisions are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Offers of admission cannot be made until your tour has been completed and the application and fee is received in full.

Children are expected to attend the tour with you.

Once your application has been submitted, the Director of Admissions will arrange a time for you and your child to visit the school.

Students are interviewed informally during a school tour and no entrance tests are required.

Please note that additional assessment may be required if recommended by CGS staff.

We accept applications for all of our programs at anytime throughout the year.
Due to our small class sizes, however, we strongly encourage applications to be submitted a year in advance.

Please make sure to contact our Vice Principal to book a phone call and a subsequent tour of our school with your child.

We are happy to accommodate students at anytime, even after the school year has begun, if we have space.

Please contact the office at 416 423 5017 or admissions@cgsschool.com to discuss options.

The re-registration process for currently enrolled CGS Early Start and JK students is completed in November each year.

The re-registration process for currently enrolled CGS SK through Grade 3 students is completed in February each year.

After Re-registration is complete, all offers of Admission will be made to successful NEW applicants.

Offers of admission are held for one week. If an offer of admission is not accepted at the end of this period, it will expire and we will continue through our list of applicants.

If space permits, and we can guarantee your child's placement after considering our returning CGS students, then we are happy to confirm direct admission immediately following the application and touring process.
